PART of the A338 is closed in both directions following a crash.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area while emergency services are at the scene.
Closures are in place from Nunton and Bodenham to the south of Downton.
Warning of today’s crash, April 16, a police spokesperson said: “Traffic is heavy and congested in the area, please avoid if you can whilst emergency services are at the scene, and seek an alternative route.”
