Police seized a car and motorcycle during an operation in Weymouth.
The officers participated in Operation Close Pass, which trained drivers who did not give enough space to cyclists or riders.
A Weymouth and Portland Police Department spokesman said: “I’m happy to report we only had to speak to a few drivers.
“However, during our time there, we stopped two other vehicles.
“The blue Ford Focus driver did not renew their insurance. The vehicle has been confiscated and the driver has given a solid fine.
“The temporary motorcyclist had neither an L license plate nor insurance. The bike was confiscated and the driver was reported to the court.”
