Car that was driven on two teenagers injured after an accident in the Scottish city

Two teenagers were injured in an accident in Dumbarton after being hit by a car.

The boy, both 15 years old, was at the entrance to Castlehill Park, known locally as The Money, when they were hit by a blue car around 9:10 pm on Sunday, September 12th.

One boy was admitted to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow with a serious foot injury and the other boy suffered a minor knee injury.

The police have now launched an investigation and are asking the population for information.

The car is said to have been a blue Ford Mondeo. The police have confirmed it

Clydebank Detective Sergeant Barry Convery said, “We appeal to anyone who may have been suspicious of driving the car in the area at the time to contact us.

“We also ask for information about the incident.

“Those who have information should report to the Scottish Police on 101 using incident number 3539 on September 12th or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
