The CARLISLE city council has fought environmental violations in the city with one of its environmentally friendly vehicles.
The 100 percent electric law enforcement vehicle was on patrol to curb crimes such as dog fouling, tipping flies and rubbish.
The vehicle has already visited areas such as Broome Court, Cumrew Close and Sheepmount in the past few weeks and will continue to drive through the area.
The vehicle is part of a fleet of six vehicles as part of the Carlisle City Council’s #KeepCarlisleclean campaign aimed at reducing the number of environmental crimes in the city.
Residents are reminded that if they want to report someone who has committed these crimes or see cases of fly tipping near them, they can report them by email: customerservices@carlisle.gov.uk
