A burning car on the M25 counterclockwise caused a long jam of traffic that backed up to Cobham’s services.
Two lanes were therefore closed, but quickly released again.
On the traffic and travel website Inrix it was initially said: “Two lanes closed and very slow traffic due to a car fire on the M25 counterclockwise from J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange) to M25 (Cobham Services).”
From the available CCTV footage, two fire engines appeared to be already on site.
