A truck and car accident on the M4 near Bristol has caused major delays this afternoon (August 5th).
As a result of the collision, two lanes are blocked and the truck collides with a guardrail.
Traffic surveillance organization Inrix said the incident occurred around 10:20 a.m.
Inrix explains: “Two lanes closed and traffic jams involved due to an accident, a truck and a car involved on the M4 heading west from junction 19 for the M32 (Bristol) to junction 20 for the M5 and junction 15 (Almondsbury Interchange) .
“Lane one and two (of four) are blocked. The blue truck collided with one of the side gates.”
