A man suffered “life-changing injuries” after being shot dead near a Wetherspoon pub in Croydon.
Police were called to a south London hospital after a 42-year-old man was gunshot wounded.
Officials attended and learned that he was shot dead by two men near Skylark Wetherspoons pub in the South End on Friday, May 21, at around 2.50.
A crime scene was set up immediately, but no arrests have been made at this point.
The open-air parking lot across from the pub at Spices Yard was cordoned off all Friday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said, “A 42-year-old man is being hospitalized and being treated for injuries that are reported to be life changing.
“Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances.”
