Milton Keynes Council is partnering with Enterprise to offer residents a rental car program – MKFM 106.3FM

Milton Keynes Council hopes the new Car Club rental program, in partnership with Enterprise, will reduce car ownership in businesses, organizations and households.

On their official Twitter account, Milton Keynes Council revealed some details about the upcoming program when it said: “Milton Keynes Council is working with Enterprise to provide a car club in the Milton Keynes area.

“The Car Club will be available to residents, businesses, and visitors. The Car Club will provide access to cars or vans and provide transportation to households, individuals, or businesses that occasionally need access to a car.

“Car clubs offer a solution by reducing car ownership when households have multiple cars that are underutilized, by providing means of transport for non-car-owned households when needed, and also by helping companies and organizations reduce their vehicle fleets.

“To ensure that planning is based on current and future travel behavior, needs and preferences, we look for views. If you want to park a car or van in a permanent location near you, let us know.”
