CCTV caught the moment that a car thief unwittingly exposed himself as he stole from a car.
Footage taken from Abbey Crescent, in Heywood, shows a hooded man approach a car and open the boot.
As he roots around inside, the suspect’s backside is clearly visible.

Another hooded man is seen on the video looking inside the car.
According to the car owner’s partner, the incident took place at 3am on Monday morning (January 31).
She told the Manchester Evening News that a gym bag was stolen, along with some children’s Lego sets.
MEN approached Greater Manchester Police for comment.
