“They gave me hope” – East Lothian’s mother loses appeal against years of fraud …A girl was hospitalized after an accident in Musselburgh.

The road was temporarily closed as emergency services visited the scene, but it has since been reopened.

The police are investigating the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 2:10 pm, officers were called to Pinkie Road in Musselburgh after an accident involving a car and a pedestrian was reported.

“The girl, aged 11, was taken to the hospital for treatment and is not believed to have had any serious injuries.

“The investigation into the circumstances continues.”
