MATTAPOISETT, Massachusetts – Twin brothers were killed in a car accident on Interstate 195 in Mattapoiset, Massachusetts on Christmas Eve.
At around 11:10 a.m. on Friday, State Police-Bourne responded to reports of a single vehicle accident on Route 195 heading west into Mattapoisett.
Officials said they found a 2012 Honda Accord that crashed into the median near the 32-mile mark and hit trees.
The operator, a 33-year-old man from Pawtucket RI, and his twin brother were admitted to hospital where both were pronounced dead, according to police.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated, Mattapisett police said, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police’s collision analysis reconstruction unit.
