A 39-year-old man was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle.
Police received a call early in the morning after the caller observed a man attempting to open cars along Netherton Park Road in Litherland.
Police made their way to the crime scene where they discovered a man identified as the person involved. He was then arrested and taken into custody.

Police are appealing to those who live near Ennerdale Drive / Kirkstone Road South / Thirlmere Drive and have CCTV or footage of the incident around 1:50 a.m. to call 101 and quote 21000541308.
