A road is blocked following after a ‘young girl’ was hit by a car in Broxbourne. A concerned local resident posted on a Facebook group, claiming that a pupil from a nearby school was involved in a collision.
They also said they saw police were at the scene and ambulance were called to the scene on the corner of New Road and High Road.
Inrix currently reports that High Street is closed in both directions and causing queuing traffic following an incident from New Road to Cock Lane. However it is not confirmed at this time if they are the same incident.
Police have confirmed a 13-year-old girl was seriously injured in the incident. The road is expected to remain closed for some time.
