Scots motorist ruins plush car after driving with steel ball underneath vehicle

A Scots motorist has ruined their plush car after dragging a steel ball under the vehicle without noticing.

The driver of a flashy white Mercedes managed to drive the car down Kirkcaldy promenade in Fife before realizing there was something stuck underneath the vehicle.

The fancy car has been abandoned since the incident last weekend as photographs show the extent of the damage.

Parked on double yellow lines, the motor has been drawing attention with the steel ball still stuck underneath it.

Extensive damage can be seen on the front bumper of the car as the section below the registration plate – which has been removed – has been completely wrecked.

Images of the motor have since been shared on social media with shocked users questioning the motorists driving abilities as one said they “should have went to Specsavers”.

One person said: “Is this the new, luxury version of the Dyson Ball Vacuum?”

Another added: “What was the driver thinking, nutter.”

While one user wrote: “I know they have been changing the road there didn’t know it was a bowling alley now.”

“Ooops that was silly and expensive,” another added.
