Police closed one Bolton Street after a car crashed into parked vehicles and hit a wall.
Emergency crews were called to Belvoir Street, Tonge Fold, at around 1:20 p.m. this afternoon (Thursday) to report a crash.
They taped off the street outside the Bury Road Veterinary Clinic for some time while two injured people were treated at the scene.
A man in their eighties and a woman in their seventies were both hospitalized after being rescued from the damaged vehicle.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were involved in an incident on Belvoir Street after a call from 999 at 1:21 pm.
