A two-car accident and fluid leak on Queens Drive forced police to close the main street.
On Wednesday 4th
Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service were called to the accident that occurred between a red VW Golf and a blue Audi Q2.

The police blocked the street in one direction while the fire department cleaned up spillage from the street and the cars were recovered.
No one was injured in the accident that occurred at the intersection near St. Andrews Church.

In the next hour the road should be opened to traffic again.
