Police are investigating a crash in Runcorn.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesman said officials were called to reports of a collision on Hallwood Link Road at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, May 21, that a vehicle hit a Ford Fiesta on the roundabout and drove off.
It was suspected on social media that the other vehicle was turning around on the roundabout.
The police spokesman said: “The caller reported that they had been hit by another vehicle at the roundabout that had escaped from the scene.
“Officers visited the scene and discovered that the incident involved a white Ford Fiesta.
“Witnesses were unable to provide a description of the second vehicle and no arrests were made.”
