Watch a parked car get “shot at” in North Staffordshire

Police released CCTV footage of a suspect apparently firing a shotgun at a parked car.

The Fiat Punto windows were damaged in the incident near Froghall Road in Cheadle.

A gray Volkswagen Golf parked in Town End was also damaged, according to officials.

Now the troop has released CCTV recordings of the Fiat that was standing in a driveway and was attacked. The video appears to show a suspect approaching the vehicle and firing the gun before pausing and “shooting” the car at close range.

According to Staffordshire Police, the incident occurred on October 17th between midnight and 2 a.m.

A spokesman said: “A white Fiat Punto was damaged. It is also believed that two side windows, front and rear, were damaged by the perpetrator with a shotgun.

“A gray Golf parked in Town End was also damaged.”

The Cheadle incident

According to the police, the perpetrator is said to have been driving a light-colored motorcycle at the time of the crime.
