Electricity and gas prices are expected to rise when the tariff cap is raised in April. But could it be that many families will soon have a money-saving solution parked in front of the house in a prominent place?

There are almost 400,000 pure electric cars on the UK’s roads, which combined have enormous capacity to store cheap off-peak electricity that could be discharged for domestic use.
