Woman injured in incident
According to the fire department, a woman was injured in the collision.
A spokeswoman said crews from the Hinckley and Leicester South Fire Station participated in the incident.
“We got a call at 10:45 am to report a collision with two vehicles outside Hollycroft Park,” she said. “No people were trapped, but an accident was assessed by our crews.
“We asked for the presence of the police and ambulance and paramedics treated a female accident at the scene.”
She added, “Crews made the vehicles safe and helped paramedics get the woman into a waiting ambulance.
“The incident was handed over to the police and a stop message was sent at 12:04 pm before our devices were removed from the crime scene.”
Details of the woman’s condition and the extent of her injuries are not known.
