A man was treated by paramedics tonight after an accident on the M60 motorway.
The counterclockwise lane between Junctions 15 and 14 at Salford has been temporarily closed.
Rescue workers rushed to the scene.

Drivers have been warned to expect delays this evening (December 29), with queues jammed up to exit 17 for Prestwich and Whitefield.
In a post on Twitter, a Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) spokesman wrote, “M60 counterclockwise from J15 to J14.
“The traffic is currently being kept in all lanes due to an RTC.
“The emergency service is there to help.
“At this point the traffic jam is back on J17. Please look for an alternative route.”
According to Inrix’s traffic monitoring system, four cars are believed to have been involved in the collision.
At around 6.45 p.m. the road was completely cleared again.
