Three lanes on the M1 are closed tonight due to a broken down vehicle that ran out of fuel (Saturday, November 27th).
The vehicle is stuck in the park and National Highways has issued a warning that there will be delays while driving.
Three lanes of the M1 northbound are closed between exit 8 towards A414 (Hemel Hempstead) and exit nine towards A5183 (Redbourn).

National Highways: East said in a tweet, “The 3 lanes of # M1 northbound # J8 (# A414 # HemelHempstead) through # J9 (# A5183 # Redbourn) have been closed due to a broken down vehicle that ran out of fuel stuck in the park, we can’t vacate it. Recovery en route, expect delays. “
