A WOMAN died after her broken car was hit by another vehicle on a freeway last week.
The collision occurred on Tuesday, October 12, around 7.40 p.m. on the M60 between junction four and five, when a black Mercedes A160 collided with a blue Opel Corsa that had failed in the first lane of the motorway.
Two days later, the Corsa passenger died in hospital.
PS Andrew Page from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Division said, “This was a tragic incident in which a woman sadly lost her life and our thoughts are very with loved ones at this terrible time.
