WARSAW, IND. (WISH) – A man died early Saturday morning in a car accident in Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred at the intersection of Country Club Road and County Road 200 South, about 120 miles north of Indianapolis.
At around 2:30 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene. According to a preliminary investigation, 51-year-old Anthony Sumner of North Manchester was driving a Ram pickup truck traveling east on County Road 200 South, did not stop on Country Club Road and cut down a tree on the east side of the intersection. Sumner was pronounced dead.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team continues to investigate the crash.
