Parking plan for Warrington Poundstretcher Car Park

Plans have been submitted for a £ 15 million multi-storey car park on the corner of Parker Street and Liverpool Street in Warrington.

If approved by Warrington Council, it is hoped that the car park will benefit both local residents and train users traveling to Warrington Bank Quay station.

The building application documents show suggestions for the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a six-storey car park with associated access and greening.

The car park would have 641 spaces, including 32 disabled parking spaces, 20 motorcycle parking spaces and 20 bicycle parking spaces.

If approved, it is reported that the parking lot would be on the property currently in use by retailer Poundstretcher.

The plans were submitted on behalf of Parker Street (MSCP) Limited, with the full plans for the parking garage being prepared by Stripe Architects.

On June 22, 2021, the Warrington Council was presented with extensive documentation, including proposed drawings, a heritage report, an environmental health report, and a draft and access statement.

There are currently no comments or objections to the plans on the Warrington Council planning portal.
