Pentagon Motor Group added Renault and Dacia car brands to its Rochdale Vauxhall location on Queensway this week (April 26th).
The group’s Vauxhall dealership in Middleton on Greenside Way has taken over the Renault van side of the franchise.
Pentagon Managing Director David Lewis said: “We have a clear strategy of focusing our efforts on the major brands in the UK market and adding a quality brand like Renault alongside our established Vauxhall store in Rochdale with the Dacia brand, alongside that fitted Well.
“The addition of the Renault van operation to our Middleton facility is another strong asset.”
Since there was previously no Renault or Dacia franchise in the immediate vicinity, this is not a dealership takeover, but a rebranding at the established location.
Existing employees take care of the new brands after receiving extensive training and support.
The Pentagon Motor Group was founded in March 1991 with only one Vauxhall dealer in Derby.
Today the company operates around 47 major brand franchise stores in 23 locations in the East Midlands and the North.
