A teenage girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a Wirral village.
Officers were called to a collision involving a red Dacia Sandero and a teenage girl on Irby Road in Pensby at around 3pm this afternoon. The girl was taken to hospital with injuries to her leg that are not life threatening.
Irby Road was closed but has since reopened. It is not known whether the driver of the car remained at the scene.
