Two pedestrians were seriously injured in Stratford on Sunday evening after being hit by a car

Two women were hospitalized last night after a traffic accident in Stratford.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called last night (Sunday) at 7:27 pm to report that a car had left the street and hit a wall before colliding with two pedestrians on Bridgefoot. Two ambulances, one paramedic, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Midlands Air Ambulance intensive care vehicles were present.

Rescue workers were on site.

An ambulance spokeswoman said, “Crews arrived at the scene and found two women, both pedestrians, with potentially serious injuries from the incident.

“They received local treatment for their injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.

“A third patient, a man who witnessed the crash, was examined and discharged on site.”
